Steady project pipelines for Vaughan contractors

Frequently asked questions

Questions Vaughan contractors ask before hiring us

These are the questions owners ask most often in a first conversation, answered as directly as we can.

These answers cover what most Vaughan contractors, builders and B2B service firms want to know before a first call. The questions and answers above are the full list; the sections below add some context on the points that cause the most confusion.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost?

Growth costs $1,999 a month on monthly terms, or $1,499 a month when billed annually, with 13% HST added. Elite and Enterprise plans cost more and cover more. Ad spend is separate and paid directly to the platform.

Do we have to sign a long contract?

No. A Vaughan.Marketing plan rolls over monthly, and a 30-day heads-up is all it takes to end it. Annual billing is cheaper but optional.

How long before we see results?

Paid search can produce enquiries within weeks of launch. Local SEO and portfolio content usually take three to six months to build momentum. For large projects, judge the work on signed contracts over two quarters.

We tried an agency before and it did not work. Why would this be different?

We cannot speak for another agency, but the usual problems are vague reporting, accounts held in the agency's name and campaigns aimed at the wrong jobs. We report on signed work, keep every account in your name and agree a cost-per-lead ceiling before spending.

Who owns the website, domain and ad accounts?

You do, from day one. Your domain, website, Google Business Profile, ad accounts and analytics stay in your name. If you leave, you keep all of it.

Can you promise a number of leads or a ranking?

No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. We can explain what we expect, set clear targets, measure them honestly and change course when the numbers say so.

What do the monthly reports show?

Enquiries by source, cost per enquiry, quotes issued and the jobs you tell us were signed. Rankings and traffic are included as diagnostics, but the headline is always signed work.

Are you a contractor?

No. We do not build, renovate, install, repair or service anything. We plan and run marketing and give business advice.

Your case studies are from HVAC companies. Does that matter?

They are results from our HVAC work, and we label them that way. The methods, such as tight geography, cost ceilings and honest tracking, transfer well to builders and other trades, but we do not claim the numbers as construction results.

Do you work with commercial and industrial service firms?

Yes. Our industrial B2B service is built for firms selling maintenance, fit-outs and repeat work to facility, plant and property managers in Vaughan's employment areas.

Can you help with permits, licensing or safety paperwork?

No. We can link to the official bodies and help you present the credentials you hold, but permit, licensing, safety and legal questions belong with the relevant regulator or your own adviser.

Do you only serve Vaughan?

This site focuses on Vaughan, but plans often reach into Toronto, Brampton, King, Caledon, Richmond Hill and Markham where your crews already work. The wider group serves clients across Canada.

Price and terms, in one paragraph

The short version: plans start at $1,999 a month, or $1,499 a month if you pay annually, plus 13% HST, and you can leave with 30 days' notice. Ad spend is extra and goes directly to the ad platform from your own account. The pricing page shows all three plans and a worked example of how many extra jobs it takes to cover the cost.

Why we talk about signed jobs, not leads

Because a lead that never becomes a contract is a cost, not a result. For a builder or renovator, a single month of enquiries can look excellent or terrible depending on timing, since large projects close slowly.

So we ask you to tell us, roughly once a month, which enquiries became site visits, quotes and signed work. It takes ten minutes, and it is the only way to know which channels are paying. Our guide to pricing a lead shows how to turn those numbers into a budget.

Ownership, in plain terms

Everything that carries your name stays in your name. That includes the domain, the website files, your Google Business Profile, the Google Ads account and billing, and your analytics. We work as users on your accounts, not as owners.

If you have had an agency hold your accounts hostage before, this matters. Ask any provider, including us, to confirm it in writing.

How the first three months usually go

Most engagements follow a similar rhythm. In the first month we audit what you have, set up tracking for calls, texts and emails, and agree your cost-per-lead ceiling. In the second month the main pages, profile fixes and any ad campaigns go live. By the third month there is enough data to see which services and communities respond, and we shift effort toward them.

For builders and commercial firms the timeline stretches, because a signed contract can trail the first enquiry by a season. That is normal, and it is why we report on the pipeline as well as on signed work.

A note for firms with two sides

Many Vaughan companies do both homeowner and commercial work: a roofer who also maintains flat roofs on industrial buildings, or a renovator who fits out showrooms. That is common, and it is manageable, but the two sides need separate pages, separate ad campaigns and separate reporting. Homeowners and facility managers search differently, decide differently and respond to different proof. Blending them is one of the most frequent reasons we see a mixed firm's marketing underperform.

When we are not the right fit

We will tell you if we think you should not hire us. That usually happens when crews are already fully booked for the year, when nobody is available to answer enquiries, or when the average job is too small for a paid plan to make sense. In those cases a few changes you can make yourself, such as tidying your Google Business Profile and asking every client for a review, may be the better first step.

What we will not do

We will not promise rankings or lead counts, invent reviews, buy fake followers, or resell your enquiries to competitors. We will not give legal, engineering, permit or safety advice, and we are not a contractor or builder.

If you are still deciding, read about our services, see the results from our HVAC work, or go straight to the contact page. Call, text or email; the first 30-minute consultation is free for eligible trades businesses.
